Who God Says Your Are?

Welcome to an insightful exploration of our divine identity in "Who God Says You Are." I'm John Highly, your guide on this journey to uncover the profound truths about our God-given essence. This blog isn't just a lesson; it's a transformative expedition designed to realign our understanding of self with the Creator's vision for us.

Understanding Our Divine Blueprint

Our exploration begins with a look at the Tabernacle, a sacred structure designed for worship and sacrifices, revealing a symbolic representation of our own composition. Just as the Tabernacle was divided into the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place, we are intricately woven from spirit, soul, and body. Our soul—comprising mind, will, and emotions—serves as a bridge connecting our earthly existence with our spirit, which is in direct communion with God.

The Shift from Sacrificial Atonement to Spiritual Empowerment

- Before Jesus Christ, the Tabernacle was the focal point for atonement through sacrifices. However, with Jesus' ultimate sacrifice, the need for physical offerings was transcended, marking a pivotal shift to spiritual sacrifice—our belief in Him.

- This fundamental change underscores our internal dynamics, highlighting the importance of letting our spirit, enlightened by faith in Christ, guide our soul and body.

From Dead Faith to Dynamic Living

The journey from understanding to embodiment involves recognizing the contrast between dead faith and living faith. Living faith isn't passive; it's the active leadership of our spirit over our soul and body, ensuring our lives reflect divine wisdom and alignment with God's will.

- Discipline as a Pathway to Divine Alignment: Our daily discipline in thoughts, actions, and emotions is not about rigid control but about harmonizing our entire being with the rhythms of God's intentions for us.

- Choosing Positivity Through Faith: Embracing the positive in every situation is not naive optimism but a faith-driven stance that acknowledges God's sovereignty and goodness in all circumstances.

Who You Are in God's Eyes

- Children of God: Affirmed in our identity, we are heirs to His Kingdom, embodying His love and grace.

- Temples of the Holy Spirit: Our bodies are not mere flesh but sanctuaries of His Spirit, calling us to live in holiness and honor.

- Bearers of Divine Light: Tasked with reflecting His light in a world shadowed by confusion and despair.

These identities are not mere titles but the essence of our being, inviting us to step into the fullness of life envisioned by our Creator.

Applying Divine Truths

This exploration is more than acquiring knowledge; it's about transformation—applying these truths to walk in a spirit-driven life. It's about realizing the immense power and freedom that comes from aligning with God's Word, leading to a life of fulfillment, purpose, and divine connection.

Embrace these truths, for in understanding who God says you are, you unlock the door to living the extraordinary life intended for you—a journey of faith, empowerment, and undeniable transformation.

However, beneath this familiar facade lies a deeper truth waiting to be uncovered – a truth that lies in the ancient Greek term "Ekklesia."
